You Give Me Fever...

As you can tell from a previous post I went to see Cinderella yesterday. Before Cinderella was shown the short film Frozen Fever was shown and as it's Frozen I thought it should get a shout out.

Frozen Fever is a short sequel to Frozen. It's a short film based around Anna birthday when Elsa wants to make her day special. All of the original voice actors come back for the short-film and an original song has been penned for it's purpose.

The best thing about the short-film is that all of the voice actors came back, in so many franchises they do spin-offs and you're lucky to get one or two of the original voices in it.

It sticks to what they know best and has the comedy bought in by Olaf and Kristoff along with some new mini faces that join them for Anna's birthday.

When it was first announced I felt that a short-film would seem cheap but no all this does is tie up the loose ends. Hans makes a short appearance and it truly shows that everyone lived happily ever after.

In all of the short-films that I have seen this was by far one of the better ones, the song was good, not as good as 'Let It Go' but good enough to make you want to watch it again. Animation was the same as the film, superb.

Now I do understand that maybe this Frozen franchise has effectively taken over parents and childrens lives but this short-film does not seem like it is just trying to drag it out (even if it is) it feels like they have put actual effort into the film and its a good way to whet your appetite before sitting down to watch Cinderella.

As this is a short-film I'm not going to give it a rating however, if you get the chance to watch the short-film it is worth watching for any Disney lover or if you're like me someone who grew up with Disney and can feel satisfied with a new film.
